Dulce Independent School District

Projects with the Dulce Independent School District include the 37,500-square-foot Dulce Athletic Complex completed in 2003, the 68,148-square-foot Dulce Elementary School also completed in 2003, and the 62,500-square-foot Dulce Middle School completed in 2005. All the projects utilize large skylights, floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceilings to create well-lit, dramatic interior spaces.

These projects were completed under the previous firm of ASA Architects Studio, with Vigil & Associates’ president/principal, Ray Vigil, serving as designer and project manager.

Dulce Elementary School was awarded the 2004 ‘Best Building Award for Interiors’ by the Associated General Contractors of America/New Mexico Building Branch and New Mexico Business Journal.
